Synopsis

The chapter opens with Rosalin contemplating Larsen's strange mix of strength and perceived weakness. She later meets Larsen and confirms their contract, discussing a rumor of her engagement to someone else, likely orchestrated by Veldador. Rosalin jokingly proposes to Larsen, stating her desire to bear his child. They then proceed to the Shadow Wasteland via a shortcut, encountering unpleasant smells, and search for something that can't be easily detected, agreeing it might take days to find.
