Synopsis

Larsen Mayton, accompanied by his shadows and a fire mage, travels to the Grandell family, known for their martial arts prowess, facing geographical challenges to get there. Upon arrival, he astounds the Grandell observers by effortlessly opening their heavily-guarded gate, which is said to require fighting spirit, despite not using any. Larsen is then led to the Martial Arts Hall, raising questions about his capabilities. The chapter also introduces a martial artist character from the story's world-building who is supposed to be a friend to a future Cassin.
