Synopsis

Larsen and his group reach the Crow Clan's territory and find the crows are more receptive than expected due to a unique cultural rule of repaying favors, sparked by a past news story. Simultaneously, the Grandell family head is revealed to be both cruel and worried about an outside threat to their daughter. The chapter juxtaposes Larsen's understanding of the world with the Grandell family's cold approach to it and sets up a potential conflict between Larsen's group and the Golden Tiger Tribe.
