Synopsis

The chapter begins with Larsen being escorted away on the Patriarch's orders, with Heira tagging along to ensure his safety despite trusting Senkan. A mage from Starlight Library, Evian, joins their journey. The scene then shifts to the Mayton main building, where the Patriarch is seen grappling with his fear and guilt over not having protected Lyle, who died a year prior. Senkan advises him to live in the present, leading to a flashback that explains how Lyle had become the center of the Patriarch's world.
