Synopsis

The chapter reveals that Namgoong Heewon's yearly Shaolin visit is for a competition among clan successors, overseen by Abbot Bulyoung. The protagonist gets dragged along and, surprisingly, is later summoned by Bulyoung who speaks through a spirit within him and cryptically hints at the future. Additionally, Bulyoung recognizes the protagonist's prior actions, and the protagonist gives the Great Circulation Elixir to the Abbot.
