Synopsis

The chapter begins with the protagonist agreeing to travel with Scarlett, but he becomes suspicious that people are attracted to a hidden power within him, rather than him personally, causing him to worry about repeating past tragedies. After finding valuable items on Zeon's corpse, including revitalization pills and a Shaolin manual, the protagonist experiences a massive power boost, which he attributes to a hidden power. He then decides to return the manual to the Shaolin Temple, which changes his travel plans. Scarlett reveals she's always wanted to explore and also changes her destination to join him on his journey.
