Synopsis

T, a regressor, learns of the magic armor Devnark and its potential to make peak martial masters even stronger. He travels to Behenger to become a mercenary, hoping to participate in dungeon raids. After a brief encounter at the mercenary guild and a skill demonstration, he's given a trial S-rank mission alongside another S-rank mercenary, Lude. They investigate a small forest area where an ogre was reported, but find unusual signs that suggest the threat is something more dangerous and unknown.
