Synopsis

Lee Sungmin arrives at the training mountain and immediately demonstrates an uncanny ability to mimic martial arts, copying and even enhancing a spear technique he'd only witnessed once. This flaunting of talent, coupled with his candid questioning of the other trainees' hard work, generates resentment. He encounters hostility when he returns the spear to the original user and then engages in a discussion where he is told that the mountain's prohibitions make the training more effective. The chapter ends with the suggestion that pushing against those prohibitions is key to growth, specifically focusing on the protagonist's talent.
