Synopsis

After setting a meeting date in ten years, the protagonist chooses to train at Mershee's Mountain, a location known for enhancing training through sensory prohibitions. They receive two prohibitions: extreme weight and the sensation of disgusting taste and texture with all food. After a week of severe hardship, unable to eat or hunt effectively, they are approached by a person speaking Erias's official language, offering help and implying the protagonist was in danger of dying.
