Synopsis

The chapter opens with a crisis as dead players revive, putting Korean rankers in danger. Game Masters (GMs) prioritize ranker safety over regular users, due to the potential for long-term damage to Korean e-sports rankings if the rankers are forced to log out. A battle ensues on the outskirts between a player, Stagnant Water, and a Zodiac enemy who possesses unique traits. Stagnant Water uses cunning combinations of his traits and skills, including poison damage and a kraken-mucus-based method of attack to defeat the enemy at the cost of a rare return scroll.
