Synopsis

The chapter opens with the main character declaring he'll devour two A-rank monsters, which he subsequently does with ease. He dismisses the current raid as a mere warm-up, foreshadowing greater challenges in the Abyss. Using an item obtained from a previous boss fight, a marble submarine, he bypasses the difficult Abyss entry method and prepares to go to a new, much more dangerous area. He also obtains a number of powerful new titles and perks indicating his monster-slaying prowess. The death of the Kraken also signals a shift in the game's world.
