The group realizes Zodiac is following them, learning he's a fellow 'Pioneer' who sought the same dungeon boss as them, causing Eojin to consider his dangerous intent. The team then arrives at the Death Abyss, a seemingly ordinary hunting ground revealed to be a trap designed by the Death Dragon Oz for lizardman users, with hidden trials lurking beneath.
