Synopsis

An Angel declares his intention to become stronger by consuming children's hearts, before turning adults into "Fruit of Knowledge" for recovery, planning a full-scale attack against demons. Meanwhile, refugees fear being fattened for consumption by Emperor Nicodemus, who unleashes his hunting dogs on their village while they are being held in a labyrinth. A hero figure is struggling to face the Emperor's power, claiming he's the only one who can take revenge for the angel race's demise.
