Synopsis

The chapter begins with the revelation that the protagonist's actions using Lich Argaymer's power have caused a continent-wide witch hunt quest to be activated, resulting in widespread conflict between players. The quest has changed and now involves judging and executing all perceived as evil; a drastic shift from previous rules and considerations for new players. Elle, after initially refusing to get involved, is persuaded to mediate and temporarily reverts to her angelic form in order to introduce changes to the quest, emphasizing the need to avoid the indiscriminate massacre of innocents. The chapter concludes with the player having to deal with hostile NPCs due to the chaos this has created and having killed other players in self defense.
