Synopsis

The chapter begins with the protagonist admitting their wrongdoings at a ruin before destroying the evidence. Meanwhile, the Baroness has amassed a huge workforce in the mines, exploiting hopeful players with a high entry fee and 'buy now, pay later' contracts, essentially enslaving them. A developer, discovering a change to their game, reveals a disruptor that is impacting the virtual world. Finally, the main character discovers his holy item is deactivated, and a system of exploitation is taking hold of the game world.
