Synopsis

The chapter begins with the main character discovering an incredibly powerful item, "Tears of Darkness", but deciding not to use it as it would make the game too easy and selling it would reveal his identity. Meanwhile, the game world experiences an iron ore shortage due to an overabundance of blacksmith players and a lack of miners. The protagonist is shown to be mining vast quantities of ores which eventually attracts the Baroness' attention and she invites him to tea. The chapter also highlights how game's economy is reacting to the player actions, showing the effects of player choices.
