Synopsis

A character receives a special item from the guild master, containing the power of a boss monster. They then detect corrupted mana, investigating it while leaving backup instructions. A fight ensues, with the character demonstrating impressive combat prowess, while also revealing their strategic use of both melee and ranged weapons. The chapter culminates in the protagonist stating they have no choice but to take the fight seriously as they had to protect a colleague in danger.
