Synopsis

The chapter follows the White Heron, who is intrigued by the Wudang Sect ascetics' unique personalities and abilities. He orchestrates a scenario where he secures passage on a merchant ship that the ascetics chose, instead of the more comfortable Jaegal family ferry. He even buys out all the space on the ship, ensuring only the ascetics and himself can board while also being offered to help protect it. This leads to a comical standoff with a merchant and exposes his manipulative tendencies, showcasing his unusual interest in these particular ascetics.
