Jinmu discovers that becoming a Master Disciple would allow him to learn how to control two types of internal energy, a secret technique of the Wudang sect. He focuses on training, making rapid progress with his sword Qi, but is still frustrated by the limitations of his dual energy types, which he believes slows him down. He encounters another disciple, Chungwoo, who reveals more information about the Master Disciple position and the ability to control two energies at once, leading Jinmu to push towards that goal.
Jinmu learns about the possibility of mastering two internal energies by becoming a Master Disciple and begins training, while also facing the challenges of his dual-energy system.
