Jinmu, the "Sword of Wudang," arrives at Qingcheng to take the exam for recognition by the Five Great Tao Sects. He is initially received well, but the atmosphere changes as the Qingcheng disciples mention a recent conflict with the Tang Clan. Jinmu learns that the Tang Clan has been operating on Qingcheng territory without permission, causing friction. While paying respects to the ancestors, Jinmu notices an unnatural flaw on an ancestral plaque, leading him to suspect a hidden purpose behind it.
Jinmu arrives at Qingcheng and, despite initial pleasantries, discovers tension between Qingcheng and the Tang clan while also noticing a suspicious inscription on an ancestral plaque.
