Synopsis

The chapter opens with a description of a dragon's innate nature as one of domination, before shifting to the introduction of Whitira of the Whale Tribe. The main focus then moves to the protagonist who rejects the idea of domination for domination's sake and expresses their desire to live comfortably and use power for their own benefit. The protagonist also declares an ambition to acquire a magic tower and hints that this acquisition will be a significant undertaking. The chapter uses fragmented dialogue with some pages failing to render text properly.
