Synopsis

The chapter reveals the legend of a dragon is false; the missing people's remains were in the forest. Cale, feeling responsible, plans to take the group to the jungle, despite some of his companions hesitating. He forms an unlikely alliance with a powerful but somewhat reckless individual, and is joined by others, and they head toward a mysterious fire. The chapter ends with the revelation that the crown prince might not be as crazy as initially thought, and the group prepares for a dangerous confrontation.
