Synopsis

The chapter reveals a confrontation between Higher Berkeley, formerly known as Captain Delarth, and the Black Lion Knights, who are acting on King Jaksenguard's orders to punish 'traitors'. Berkeley, now siding with the people, challenges the established order, revealing a shift in loyalty and values. The Black Lion Knights, despite being led by a newly appointed Master Rank, are defeated by Berkeley. Prince intervenes and stops the massacre of laborers, saving them from execution and ordering them back to construction. However, the Black Lion Captain considers the Prince too soft and weak, believing only ruthless punishment of traitors can maintain authority.
