Synopsis

This chapter focuses on Ray's frustrating attempts to learn healing magic, which everyone seems to expect him to master effortlessly. He's given a practical lesson involving a wounded deer, but instead of healing, he accidentally causes its instant death. This leaves him questioning his ability and understanding of how to use mana for healing before he's asked to heal an injured individual, setting up a dramatic moment.
