Synopsis

The chapter introduces the new Saint, who is quickly put in a position to handle a disrespectful noble named Berith and his father, Marquis Harold. The Saint, surprisingly, shows a forgiving nature, accepting the Marquis' offer to renounce his title and donate his fortune instead of harsher punishment for Berith. She then learns about the three families sworn to protect her, including a hidden one that works in the shadows. The chapter concludes with the two visible families vying for the Saint's favor and she considers reducing the number of families serving her.
