Synopsis

The chapter centers on the protagonist's attempts to manage Leila's flour withdrawal symptoms. He initially restricts her diet and increases her water intake, explaining the scientific basis of her allergic reaction. To further distract her, he introduces chess to the Duke, which becomes a surprisingly popular game within the castle. The chapter also highlights the rapid healing of Leila's skin thanks to the treatment plan, but also shows that she is still going through withdrawal.
