Synopsis

The chapter focuses on the Saintess negotiating her terms of service with the Holy Empire. She demands the freedom to quit being a Saint, threatens to join an enemy country, requires access to all libraries, and wants compensation. The most contentious point is her demand for a sincere apology for the treatment of the elves, which the Holy Empire refuses, causing her to threaten to leave. Ultimately they partially concede but the main issue of apology is a deal-breaker.
