Synopsis

The chapter opens with a declaration of intent to challenge the Fortress Master, with the Lightning God Clan Leader launching a cowardly assassination attempt, before a proper challenge is made. Meanwhile, rumors are being spread about the Fortress Master's strength which encourages others to challenge him. Even amongst allies, his methods are questioned, though ultimately accepted as they are deemed in line with his character. The chapter ends with more challenges on the training grounds and an ambush by the former Lighting God leader who has been defeated.
