Synopsis

The chapter opens with a comedic standoff between the protagonist and an old man, then transitions to a serious interrogation by the Gorgon Fortress's Inner Administrator. The protagonist explains his strange entry into Chaos and his 'soul form' state. The Administrator suspects the protagonist is being pursued by a powerful entity and reveals they've been monitoring him. They propose an alliance, offering protection against the powerful force in exchange for saving their fortress master.
