Synopsis

The chapter starts with a character running away after some indirect acknowledgement of caring, and then transitions to the revelation that the Tower's 1st and 100th floors have been connected by a 'Designer', resulting in a massive influx of climbers to the 100th floor. The floor's guardian, now with restored memories, has blocked off the 100th floor for a limited time while they recover their power, and has tasked their group to prepare for the incoming threat. The chapter also briefly touches on past events, how the tower was originally structured, and the revival of failed climbers.
