Synopsis

Karina receives a letter that appears to detail her art disease, leading to a heated confrontation with her family, who are more concerned with their honor than her well-being. After the argument, Karina must deal with Hertha, a creature she created, who is acting dangerously. Despite the risk, Karina wants to understand Hertha and control her, rather than fight her. The chapter ends with Karina being questioned about how long her creations last, suggesting that might be a key to solving the problem.
