Synopsis

The chapter opens with Yigang and his group arriving for their written exam, which proves to be extremely difficult, even for diligent students. Yigang, however, finishes quickly, causing his peers to suspect he either cheated or is exceptionally gifted. The Academy Head is furious at Yigang's seemingly impossible performance. The chapter also touches on the changes within Yigang's clan, with shifts in power and his departure for Cheongrim to participate in the First Flower Promotion test, a crucial exam determining disciple hierarchy. Finally, it introduces the fear and uncertainty Yigang causes among his future classmates in Cheongrim.
