Synopsis

Following an escape, a character grapples with guilt over past events, including a sniper attack. He and the princess he's with journey to the Arden Valley, relying on her sense of direction. Days are marked as they travel and finally, the princess goes missing leaving the character alone, sparking a shift in his personality and a desire to kill. He concludes he has to survive.
