Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist facing an enemy in a mental space where the enemy seeks answers by accessing his memories. The enemy reveals the protagonist's past actions, highlighting how he failed his brother while simultaneously revealing the depth of the protagonist's efforts to correct his relationship with his brother. The enemy taunts him about being weak and not being someone his brother could depend on, which is juxtaposed with the protagonist's inner desire to be a better brother in this new timeline. The protagonist then is seen struggling to come up with ways to escape the mental space.
