Synopsis

The chapter opens with a character's contract activating a bodily harm curse due to a violation. Another character, Riette, reveals her curse resistance and attempts to nullify the contract, revealing her skill is L-Class. However, she learns the contract is also L-Class and cannot be nullified. She then risks her own arm and eye to break the contract for another person, while revealing she did so to gain information on her brother's murderer. The chapter ends with a character explaining the underlying goals of a group behind the contracts, which are tied to ending the world.
