Synopsis

After a power boost that drastically increases his stats, the protagonist escapes his captors. He encounters a C-rank hunter holding the key to the Horned Fire Lion and tricks him into a contract which he later nullifies with his resistance. He ultimately defeats the hunter and decides to wait for his rescue team, intending to keep his new abilities concealed and let others believe World's Edge rescued him.
