Synopsis

This chapter explains that the protagonist, using his knowledge from before his regression, is setting a trap for the Kraken, the S-Rank dungeon boss that previously destroyed Hong Kong. He recreates the environment of the original attack by manipulating lighting and placing magic stones, drawing the Kraken towards a lit-up auction house. After the auctioneer reveals his intention to sell people, he claims to be 'cleaning up' the situation, stealing all the slaves and then revealing the Kraken's arrival. The protagonist makes an escape with a hostage as the Kraken begins its attack, setting the stage for the next chapter.
