Synopsis

A woman named Son Soso arrives to inform the Union Master about events in Ilyang Prefecture, specifically that the Zaha Inn errand boy has overthrown the Black Rabbit Union. Rather than being upset, the Union Master is pleased, perceiving it as good news. He then offers Soso a managerial position and reveals his face, causing her to faint. The chapter ends with the Union Master's inner circle arguing about how to treat the unconscious Soso.
