Synopsis

The chapter opens with the introduction of a powerful young swordsman, initially mistaken for a trainee, who easily overwhelms a group of bandits. Meanwhile, another character, facing a separate enemy, is hindered by flashbacks of a traumatic event and their own fear, despite trying to protect others. The bandits reveal their goal was a rare herb and that they underestimate the strength of the young swordsman.
