Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist beginning his official training, now alongside a failed trainee named Martha Zieghardt. A spy is revealed to be reporting on the protagonist and his companion, tasked with infiltrating the annex. The spy attempts to hide information from his superiors regarding the protagonists abilities, which causes an internal conflict when the protagonist reveals his awareness of a rage worm and his ability to discern the spies thoughts. He reflects on his aura training, and the chapter closes with him interacting with other trainees and an older training member.
