Synopsis

The chapter opens with a conversation hinting at the protagonist's dangerous nature and the need to be careful. He is then forced to deal with Barret, a cruel noble from the protagonist's previous life, who assaulted his subordinate. The protagonist, showing overwhelming power, berates Barret while recalling his past crimes, including murdering a classmate and torturing servants, before vowing to give him a punishment that goes beyond mere death. The chapter ends with the protagonist revealing that he knew a stalker (also his subordinate) was being attacked, and expressing dissatisfaction with the subordinate’s actions.
