Synopsis

The chapter reveals that a cult is attempting to offer the city of Porti as a sacrifice to the evil god Valle, based on an inscription found on a statue. The protagonist, having escaped a mansion and unable to get help due to the city lockdown, resolves to stop the ritual with the help of an ally. They recall that the vice-mayor was trustworthy, while the mayor's behavior suggests his involvement, and they are then ambushed at the mayor's home after discovering the truth.
