Synopsis

The protagonist reflects on a past encounter with a 'justice-enveloped' person who inspired his kind acts, stating he'd now tell that person his life isn't bad because of it. The Carwidmen, accompanied by the protagonist and others, have destroyed the Valled's northern branch. The chapter introduces Gren Zennard, a man who reminds the protagonist of that past hero and leads to a conversation about the phrase 'I hope you will be someone who does good in your next life', and also explores the Saintess Luvealla's change and how the protagonist influenced it.
