Synopsis

The chapter opens with a desperate defense against a large force of Carwidmen crossing a lake. While the defense struggles, a character infiltrates the opposing temple, seeking a valuable item. This character also reflects on a priest's persistent interest, which seems to have hidden motives. Simultaneously, others are focused on the defense and moving their forces across the lake, highlighting the divided priorities.
