Synopsis

A young boy encounters a mysterious man, seemingly a traveler, who gives him bread. Later, the man helps a group deal with an orc threat in the mountains. The young boy observes this and, while hesitant, accepts further help from the man, struggling to reconcile the man's actions with his self-proclaimed 'bad person' status and his own experiences with other adults. He reflects that the man's actions were unexpected given the man's willingness to help without wanting anything in return.
