Synopsis

The protagonist realizes their mana is insufficient to defeat a powerful foe, but plans to compensate by using mana resonance. After encountering an enemy who confirms a connection to a past kidnapping attempt, the villain escapes using a smoke bomb. The protagonists are forced to confront another enemy, a monster with incredibly durable skin, while also discovering villagers being used as human shields, indicating a calculated and cruel strategy of their enemies.
