Synopsis

The chapter begins with the group arriving at their destination, a location with a good view but also marked by a new "authority". They encounter a priest guarding the area who demands they surrender their weapons, leading to a misunderstanding and a brief confrontation. They then meet a group of archeologists led by a royal captain who are excavating nearby ruins. After clarifying their purposes and sharing information about a key and ruins, the groups agree to cooperate, highlighting a shared interest in the ancient sites and offering some potential for shelter.
