Synopsis

After three years of servitude and abuse, the protagonist decides to leave their master, seeking to complete their main quest and avenge Shantux. They reveal they obtained the power of 'Corruption Giant' by stealing a holy relic and extracting its divinity. However, their master appears, having tracked them down with wanted posters, and intends to resume their harsh training. The chapter ends with the protagonist realizing the training time required would be detrimental to their goals as they assess the casualties of a previous battle.
