Synopsis

The chapter opens with an explanation of the Trumpeters of Rest, figures who spontaneously gain the power to lead undead armies, and who are generally avoided. A priest is asked by terrified locals to convince the local Trumpeter to stop raising the dead. Meanwhile, another group of characters frantically anticipates the arrival of someone named Marnak, who they seem to have a history with, potentially involving revenge and are also in the same city of Eradico, where all this takes place.
