Synopsis

A chapter begins with a seemingly out-of-place character in a suit and dress shoes, drinking tea within a dangerous 'rupture' area filled with flames, sparking confusion among other characters. Simultaneously, a guild is attacked by an endless wave of bloodied, fearless bandits that don't react to pain. The chapter concludes with a character noticing the unnatural absence of pain from the bandits and feeling an ominous presence linked to the mana they emit.
